My question is this: Can anyone confirm that Hearthstone can run on the new Kindle Fire HD 10 running FireOS 7? It seems that some people on the forums state that it's not working and I'd hate to spend money on a new tablet if Hearthstone still doesn't work. I was thinking about doing the Amazon 20% off trade-in program for one of the new 2021 Kindle Fire HD 10 Plus tablets with 4GB of RAM which runs FireOS 7. The problem I have is that the Kindle I have is running the latest FireOS on it which is 5.6.8 and cannot be upgraded to FireOS 7 (so it looks like my device is no longer supported which really stinks). If your tablet’s Fire OS version meets the requirements but you are still unable to update the app, please feel free to try the steps in our mobile install troubleshooting article here. Original Fire HD 10 (2015) shipped with Fire OS 5 Fire HD 10 (2017) shipped with Fire OS 5.3 Fire HD 10 (2019) shipped with Fire OS 7 Fire HD 10 (2021) ships with Fire OS 7 The model / year of the Fire HD 10 tablet will determine which Android / Fire OS version you can upgrade to. As mentioned previously the new requirement is Fire OS 6 for Amazon tablets. I did some research and saw the following post by Blizzard Technical Support on their forums:ĭue to technical changes the minimum requirements needed to be raised for Hearthstone on Android. I have an older Kindle Fire HD 10 from 2018 or so and Hearthstone hasn't worked on it since the latest patch.
